Arrival at Casablanca airport, welcome by our French-speaking guide, then departure for the visit of the Hassan II Mosque, United Nations Square, and the Ain Diab Corniche.

Continuation to Rabat.

Breakfast at the hotel, then departure for a city tour of Rabat.

The Hassan Tower, the minaret of an unfinished mosque. The tower was intended to be the tallest minaret in the world, together with the adjacent mosque.

However, after the death of Yacoub El Mansour, construction work was interrupted and the site remained unfinished.

Then the Mohammed V Mausoleum. It houses the tomb of the King of Morocco, Mohammed V, and his two sons, King Hassan II and Prince Moulay Abdallah. The building is considered a masterpiece of modern architecture of the Alaouite dynasty.

Walk through the Kasbah of the Oudayas, located at the mouth of the Bouregreg River.

It was built in the 12th century by the Almohads. Originally, this kasbah was intended for the military defense of the settlement.

Later, the kasbah gave its name to the entire city that surrounded it.

The Kasbah of the Oudayas is a district of narrow, winding streets and houses nestled within protective walls.

In 2012, it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with other sites in the city.

Lunch, then departure to discover Cap Spartel, where the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea meet.

Continuation to Tangier along the Atlantic coast for a guided historical walking tour. Located on the Strait of Gibraltar, the city offers a fascinating blend of Africa, Europe, and the Orient.

Tangier has inspired many internationally renowned artists (musicians and writers). Visit of the kasbah overlooking the port, located at the highest point of the city, followed by the Grand Socco, a lively square with distinctive architecture, and the Petit Socco, located in the heart of the medina.

The tour continues with the discovery of the corniche, offering a panoramic view over the strait.

Breakfast at the hotel, then take the panoramic road along Cap Malabata. It follows the coastline toward Ceuta and offers superb views of the Strait of Gibraltar and the Rif Mountains. You will also see Ksar es-Seghir, the cliffs of Jbel Moussa, pass through small fishing villages, and enjoy beautiful beaches, including Cabo Negro.

Continuation to Tetouan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located in the Rif Mountains, for a panoramic stop.

Then departure to Chefchaouen, beautifully perched beneath the first peaks of the Rif, one of the most beautiful villages in Morocco.

The small town is known for its charming blue-and-whitewashed houses.

Departure with your guide for a half-day city tour, starting with Mohammed V Square Park, which offers a magnificent view of the Rif Mountains.

Lunch, then head to the central square of Outa el Hammam, where the kasbah is located with its red walls, fortress, and 15th-century keep featuring ethnographic and artistic exhibitions.

The octagonal minaret of the Grand Mosque stands nearby.

Breakfast at the hotel, then departure to Volubilis, an ancient Roman city home to the best-preserved and most visited archaeological remains in Morocco.

The region has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Excavations show that the city’s first inhabitants were the Carthaginians in the 3rd century BC. Later, in 42 AD, the city was annexed to the Roman Empire.

Lunch, then drive to Meknes. The visit will include Bab El Mansour, El Hedim Square, and the Moulay Ismail Mosque.

We will also visit Bab El-Khemiss, the main entrance to the former mellah, and the synagogue.

Continuation to Fez and check-in at your hotel.

Departure with your guide for a full day of sightseeing in Fez.

Discovery of the Bou Inania Madrasa, which means “school.” It is an Islamic university built in 1350 by the Marinid Sultan Abu Inan. The madrasa is one of the buildings in Muslim cities dedicated to the teaching of Islamic sciences.

Then the Al-Attarine Madrasa, built in 1320. It is relatively small and could accommodate around 60 students. However, it is the most richly decorated madrasa in the city.

Arrival at the entrance of the Karaouiyine Mosque and University, built in 859. It is one of the oldest universities in the world. The contrast between its artistic architecture and the limited dimensions of the mosque gives the impression of a true jewel, carved down to the smallest detail.

The largest is the Aben Danan Synagogue.

Built in 1600, it was recently renovated and now houses a museum dedicated to the Jewish community of Fez, as well as a visit to the Safroud Cemetery, where Rabbi Lahou Harroch and Rabbi Raphael Moshe Elbaz are buried.

Bou Khessissat Street is the most beautiful street in the mellah, with houses aligned and balconies open to the outside, unlike Arab houses which open inward.

The mellah, the Moroccan Jewish quarter, takes its name from the Arabic word “salt,” as salt had great value in ancient times and was used by Jews as a form of currency.

Departure toward Erfoud via Ifrane, the little Swiss town of Morocco. Stop and continue to Midelt for lunch.

Continuation to Erfoud, with many Berber villages scattered along the way, then crossing the Tafilalet oasis.

Breakfast at the lodge, then departure to discover the desert via the villages of Khamlia.

Located seven kilometers from Merzouga, this is an unusual place that bears the lasting traces of trade routes.

Also known as the “Black Village” or “African Village,” it is home to the “Bambaras,” populations also known as the Gnawa, descendants of enslaved people from sub-Saharan Africa.

Not far away are abandoned mines, which are still subject today to artisanal exploitation by miners searching for quartz and kohl.

Arrival in the Merzouga Desert in the late afternoon.

Very early in the morning, there is the possibility of taking a short walk near your camp and enjoying a brief moment to admire the magnificent sunrise.

After breakfast, departure toward Rissani to visit the Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum and the souk.

Passing through Zagora, then to the village of Tamgroute, where it is possible to visit the pottery workshops and kilns…

After breakfast, departure to Ouarzazate via the Draa Valley and Agdez.

Arrival in Ouarzazate, then departure for a visit to the Atlas Studios, the first film studios in Morocco, covering an area of 30 hectares.

Many famous films were shot there, such as *The Jewel of the Nile* with Michael Douglas, *Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves* with Fernandel, *Gladiator* by Ridley Scott, and *Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra* by Alain Chabat.

Departure with your guide for a guided tour of Marrakech. Then a walk to the Koutoubia, an emblematic religious monument, which was remodeled by the Almohads starting in 1162.

They built a sober and austere mosque near the former booksellers’ souk, hence the nickname Koutoubia, the “mosque of the booksellers.”

Discovery of the Bahia Palace, renowned for the richness of its architecture.

Its construction is relatively recent, dating back to the 19th century, and was inspired by Arab and Andalusian styles. The foundations of the palace appeared in 1880 under the authority of the vizier Sidi Moussa, head of the Moroccan kingdom.

He wished to build a luxurious residence for the pleasure of one of his companions. He therefore offered a palace composed of approximately 160 rooms. This explains the name of the monument meaning “Palace of the Beautiful.”

Discovery of the Saadian Tombs, the only remaining vestiges of the Saadian dynasty that reigned from 1524 to 1659. They house the burial places of the Saadian royal family.

In the late afternoon, stroll through the souks and the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square, listed as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (UNESCO).

In a traditional atmosphere, you will discover the art of henna practiced by Moroccan women. You will learn how to draw basic henna patterns.

After breakfast, departure for a walk in the Menara Gardens, a vast orchard and olive groves built during the Almohad dynasty. The pavilion and the basin are located in the center of the garden.

It was designed as a reservoir to irrigate nearby agricultural lands, olive groves, and orange groves.

Then visit the Majorelle Gardens, designed by the painter Jacques Majorelle in 1917. He created this garden around his studio.

It is a living work of art, composed of exotic plants and rare species: cacti, yuccas, water lilies, lotus flowers, jasmines, bougainvillea, palm trees, coconut palms, banana trees, bamboo…
