Dakhla
4 days - 3 nights
Trip description
Located 550 km south of Laâyoune, Dakhla is a paradise for fishermen, surfers, and nature lovers.
Temperatures range between 22°C and 25°C throughout the year. The sand is white. Tourism professionals are used to calling the region the Moroccan Antilles.
It lies at the extreme southern tip of a peninsula that encloses the famous bay of Oued Eddahab. The waters are rich in fish and warm (from 19°C to 24°C), making them ideal for water sports.
Originally a small port roughly developed during the colonial period at the mouth of the Rio de Oro, later renamed Oued El-Fouch and founded in 1844 under the name Villa Cisneros, the city today clearly asserts its dual role as a fishing port and a hub of exchange.
