Visit of the Bou Inania Madrasas, meaning “school,” an Islamic university built in 1350 by the Marinid Sultan Abu Inan. The madrasa is one of the most important buildings in Muslim cities for the teaching of Islamic sciences.
Then, discovery of the Al-Attarine Madrasa, built in 1320. Although modest in size and able to accommodate around 60 students, it is the most richly decorated in the city.
Arrival at the Al Quaraouiyine Mosque, built in 859 and considered one of the oldest universities in the world. The contrast between its artistic architecture and its modest dimensions gives the impression of a true jewel, finely sculpted.
The Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss I is an emblematic religious site in Morocco, dedicated to the founder of the Idrisid dynasty. Its traditional architecture and Moroccan motifs make it a sacred place of great beauty. The route from Midelt to Errachidia crosses diverse landscapes, from apple orchards to the Ziz Gorges, with their steep cliffs and winding river. As you approach Errachidia, the scenery becomes more arid, announcing the first dunes of the Sahara.

Visit of the Atlas Studios, the first film studios in Morocco, covering an area of 30 hectares. Many famous movies were filmed there, such as *The Jewel of the Nile* with Michael Douglas, *Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves* with Fernandel, *Gladiator* by Ridley Scott, and *Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra* by Alain Chabat.
Continuation towards Marrakech, the ochre city steeped in Jewish history, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass and passing by the Ksar of Aït Ben Haddou.

Breakfast at the hotel, then departure for a second day of visits to the historic monuments of the Red City.
Walk to the Koutoubia, an emblematic religious monument of the city. From 1162 onward, the Almohads remodeled it by building a sober and austere mosque near the former booksellers’ souk, from which comes its name, Koutoubia, the “Mosque of the Booksellers.”
Visit of the Saadian Tombs, the only remaining vestiges of the Saadian dynasty that reigned from 1524 to 1659. They house the tombs of the royal family.
Visit of the Bahia Palace, built in the 19th century in an Arab-Andalusian style. Sidi Moussa, Grand Vizier of the Sherifian Empire, laid its foundations in 1880. Wishing to offer a luxurious residence for one of his concubines, he had a palace of nearly 160 rooms built, which explains its name meaning “Palace of the Beautiful.”
