Day 1: Casablanca – Marrakech (250 km/ 3h30)

Day 2: Visit Marrakech

Departure with your guide for a day of guided visits of the major monuments in Marrakech.
Visit the Menara Gardens. A vaste orchard and olive grove, built during the Almohade dynasty. The pavillion and basin are right in the middle of the gardens. It was initially meant to be a water reservoir for nearby fields, olive and orange groves.
Walk to the Koutoubia a religious landmark; it was restored by the Almohadeat the beginning of 1162, a bare-bones mosque built near the old souks of librarians, where the moniker « Koutoubia » (mosque of the librarians) originates.
Visit of the Majorelle Gardens, conceived by the painter Jacques Majorelle in 1917. He created this garden around his workshop. This is a living work of art, full of exotic and rare plants: cacti, lilipads, varieties of jasmins, bougainvilleas, palms, coconut and banana trees, etc.
Visit the Yves Saint Laurent museum, located near the gardens. The museum houses part of the « Pierre Bergé – Yves Saint Laurent » collection, which includes highfashion clothes and accessories, as well as designs and various objects, prominently displayed as an exhibit.
Visit of the Saadi Ruins the only remaining vestiges of the Saadi dynasty, which reigned between 1524 and 1659, they house the tombs of the Saadi royal family.
Visit of the Bahia Palace, recognized for its grand architecture, it was recently built in the 19th century, and was inspired by both Arab and Andalusian styles.

A stroll through the Jardin secret (Secret garden). Clouded with mystery, this arabo-andalusian palace is coming back to life in the heart of the old medina, after several centuries. Its high towers offer a breathtaking view of the medina and the Atlas mountains nearby.

Late afternoon, walk through Jmaa El Fna Square, a bustling hub at the heart of Marrakech. There to your delight, you will see live snake charmers, monkey trainers, storytellers, musicians and numerous forms of arts, such as games, henna tattooing, where you will also have the opportunity to learn the art of henna designing.
Tea break at the Clock Café. The walls of this delighted place resonate with strange words from various storytellers who delight the visitors with stories and legends in the Moroccan Dialectal Arabic as well as in English. In this legendary trendy café, the atmosphere is electrifying, warm and convivial, even if customers do not understand the words spoken. Various concerts, jam sessions and evenings filled with Gnaoua music are the trademark of Clock Café, making it an inescapable breathtaking spot in Marrakech.

Day 3: Marrakech – Essaouira – Marrakech (400 km/5h)

Leave for Essaouira, formerly named Mogador, an ancient fort and fishing port. History recalls a time when Spain, Portugal and England fought for the control of the city. It boasts a typically Portuguese port, a beautiful display of the country’s architecture.
Arrival in Essaouira, followed by a visit of the city with your guide:
Visit the Sidi Mohammad Ben Abdellah Museum, named for the city’s founder, built on the site of a 19th century hotel. Historical artifacts, ancient pottery and jewelry on full display. You’ll likely appreciate not only the building’s beautiful architecture, but also the diversity of objects inside which retain their original allure.
Visit the skala, famous for its rows of gigantic canons, facing the Atlantic Ocean, its fishing port, and its gorgeous views of old Portuguese ramparts.

Visit the local market, the Jewelry district and discover boutiques boasting Moroccan artisanal goods in the medina, a UNESCO heritage site as of the end of the 18th century..
Visit of a women’s argan cooperative: you will be able to familiarize yourself with this famous Moroccan know-how. You will witness the process of producing cosmetic oils such as 100% organic argan oil.
Return to Marrakech at the end of the day

Day 4: Marrakech – Ourika – Marrakech (120 km/ 2h)

Leave for a guided tour of the Ourika Valley, a village marked by its cascades and greenery, the Ourika Valley is nestled in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains.
This beautiful green valley is one of the most well-preserved in Morocco. The village is at the end of the road, continues into the valley, passing through Oukaimeden, a popular ski destination in Morocco.
Stop in Setti Fatma, a village in the Atlas Mountains, to discover the “Seven Cascades”, and enjoy a beautiful view of the Ourika village.

Day 5: Terres d’amanar
Breakfast at the hotel
Optional: enjoy a two hours quad or camel ride excursion through the Palm Grove of Marrakech with a private guide.
Or 2 hours relaxation in a SPA where you can be pampered with a Hammam and Massage.
Depart for the Terres d’amanar, a natural reserve 30 minutes away from Marrakech, next to Toubkal National Park. There, you can enjoy several hiking trails, and the option to get a bird’s eye-view from a zipline, or a rope-climb, an equally safe alternative that takes you from tree to tree for an a magnificent breathtaking view.
